Yes, all the music added to the RSC version (the opening verse to "Rainbow", the opening verses to "Brain", "Heart" and "Nerve", the opening verse to "Merry Old Land of Oz" and the additions to "King of the Forest") was written by Harold and Arlen. The songs in this particular piece is so iconic that I'm not sure additional music and lyrics by other composers will be able to integrate into it.
