If the reports are accurate, it's early-stage prostate cancer, which is usually very treatable. Hopefully all goes well for him.

And .... it point up why men sure make sure their doctors do the PSA (simple blood work) test to catch this potential killer before it becomes a serious threat.

Yea, from the sound of it he should be just fine.

That said, is it wrong that I my first thought was "Damn, the universe is really trying to keep Phantom 2 from happening!"

I actually think that working on this show will keep him healthy, as often people with cancer usually do better with endorphins flowing...

^Just because someone has cancer, doesn't mean they aren't a bad person (not saying ALW is bad or good)...nor does it forgive any of their previous actions.

My uncle had the same diagnosis five years ago. Luckily, the treatment and surgery went well and he survived. I saw him the other day, and he's in better physical shape than I am.

Lucky for Andrew, prostate cancer is fairly easy to treat, and they caught it early, so chances are good that he'll get through this.
