Andrew Rannells/BOM fanmail

Hey everyone,
Long time lurker first time poster. I was curious if anyone here has sent fan mail/asked for a signed playbill via mail from anyone in The Book of Mormon? I sent a letter to Andrew Rannells and included a postage paid envelope for a signed playbill, because I haven't gotten up to NYC to see the show yet and I want to be sure that I get from from Rannells because I am a HUGE fan. So I was wondering if anyone has had any luck, or knows if they do that sort of stuff over there because I know they do at other shows.

How long ago did you send it? It often takes a month or more for those things to be returned.

Around two weeks ago, I am just curious as to whether or not anyone has had successful attempts with this show in particular. I know it will take a little. thank you tho :)

If you included a pre-paid postage envelope, you WILL be getting a signed Playbill. Just be patient. As mentioned above, it can take a short bit. Can answer why it does, but it does.

Thank you so much! I was a little concerned about posting on here because of some of the stuff I have seen happen to new people in the past but thank you for being so helpful and nice. I will most definitely be posting more often.

And what about if you just sent him a letter with a regular postage stamp? (Like me)

Well sometimes, you can get a really quick response while other times it can take a month or even longer.

For example, I sent a letter to Aaron Tveit from CATCH ME IF YOU CAN and he sent me a personalized letter and autographed headshot in merely two weeks.

I also sent Reeve Carney from SPIDER-MAN a letter, and also sent him a tweet on Twitter asking him if he has received it and he said that he has but has not had the chance to respond to it yet but he will.

Andrew Rannells actually has a Twitter as well, not sure how often he responds to his fans on there but it's worth a shot asking him whether or not he has gotten around to responding to fan mail yet.


But best of luck to you! I am looking forward to seeing BOM as well! Do let us know if you get a response from Andrew! :)

Andrew is one of the nicest guys out there. You'll most likely get a response. Just be patient.

Thanks guys! I also just found out my mom managed to get tickets from BOM at the end of October so I am super excited about that. Thanks for all the help!
