(I'm going by the L.A. choreography)
I actually didn't have that much of a problem with it. Some numbers, like "One of the Boys" and of course, the opening, were genius. But the scene transitions just didn't work for me, especially with scenery flying in around them. Really, it's serviceable choreography - nothing Tony-worthy, but nothing that would make him a "one trick pony". In the Heights had some of the best original choreography I've seen on stage in years, and I'm sure whatever he takes on next will wow us.

I thought the choreography was great, transitioning from robotic, machine like movements (mimicking office machinery and robots in a way) to the more fluid, funky, disco vibe as the show progresses. The dancers are a metaphor for the transitions in the women and the office staff, from "cogs in the machine to living, breathing people). I thought it was wonderful.
Bettyboy72 - I really enjoyed the way you explained your thoughts on that, thanks for sharing!
