Angela Lansbury fan mail

I would love to send Angela Lansbury a letter to let her know how much her performance in "Sweeney Todd" has meant to me. Does anybody know an address I could use to send her a letter?

Thanks for your help!

re: Angela Lansbury fan mail

You could have written to her c/o the theatre she was performing at when she was starring in Deuce on Broadway. You can always do that with any performer. I corresponded back and forth with Ms. Lansbury three times when I was 15 years old and she was starring in Sweeney on Broadway, by writing to her c/o the then Uris Theatre. She wrote me back within a week. She was nice enough to let me meet her backstage after one of the performances and referenced something I had said in one of my letters that I had written months prior. Terrific lady. Should she do a stage run of any sort again, I would suggest doing that.

No offense Robin, but saying what Mimi should have done, doesn't really help her now.

That's okay, it does help. I should have thought of that when she was in "Deuce." I missed my chance, but thank you for the suggestion.

Does she possibly have an agent I could contact?

re: Angela Lansbury fan mail

Hello. One thing to remember is to include a self-addressed stamped envelope. This would help tremendously when writing to any artist. from Roman in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Isn't Biff Liff based in New York? I'd suggest writing to William Moriss's NYC office if that is the case.

re: Angela Lansbury fan mail

Thank you, Roman. That's an excellent idea. I will do that.

And Connemara, I will contact Biff Liff. Thank you!

I would love for her to respond, but my main reason for my letter is just to tell her how great she is.
