I thought Angela was pegged to be in The Best Man -- has that fallen through (either the revival or Angela's participation)?

Even if The Best Man happens, it won't be until spring...James Earl Jones will be in London doing Driving Miss Daisy until December.

Lansbury hasn't signed yet but she's in talks to join the cast. There is only one role for her in that production - Mrs. Sue-Ellen Gamadge. I don't think Elizabeth Ashley who played the part in the 2000 revival received a Tony nomination for it, but Ann Sothern who played the part in a movie did get a Golden Globe nomination, so maybe Lansbury could score a record 6 Tony for it.

Yes, that is the role she's rumored for. No official casting has been announced save for Jones as President Hockstader.
