Hey, I was wondering if anyone got to see Annaleigh's Birdland show on Monday. I couldn't go and I would like to know how she did! And they posted pictures on annaleigh-ashford.com and she looked ah-mazing.

Posted: 4/11/08 at 3:14pmi wish i could go see her but i will be back at college, at least i have three weeks left of classes and one week for finals. thats the worst part about going to college an hour and a half from the city not seeing the birdland concerts on mondays or anything else going on. by the way i loved her in wicked and will post my review seeing her in the annaleigh ashford thread.

I'm curious as to what songs she sang. I heard she did a little Judy Garland, Dolly Parton, Doris Day. A bit of everything. She looked gorgeous in those pics. Must've been a great show. I wish I could've of went.

I got tickets for May 11th... gonna be a sad day. =(
Annaleigh already cries so much during Act 2, so imagine how much she'll be crying on her last day.
She has grown so much as Glinda. Her and Stephanie together are amazing.

I was thrilled when I heard she extended. I wouldn't have been able to go if her last was April 20th, as it was originally. But now, May 11th is perfect for me.

Do you think there'll be any fun surprises or ad-libs during the show? If she does something as great as Cheno's "How to be Popular" book or Shoshana's pink panties from Megan, that would be hysterical. After the toss-toss, can you picture Annaleigh teaching Elphaba the bend and snap? (lol no, no.. too Legally Blond-ish). I have a feeling she won't, but the show will be amazing.

LOL! You haven't seen her yet? Gooo! Her Popular alone is worth it. :)
