i am gonna try to go to the stagedoor if i get onstage tickets for spring awakening that night. too bad i wont be there for annaleigh last performance but so happy i got to see her, it will tough for her throughout the all show. i love the ideas of chico, bend n snap, and mad props or maybe she bring a bag of milky ways to stephanie and maybe to lisa brescia whos been sharing the stage alot too with her. she will do something amazing i believe. whoever is going to her last performance can you videotape it to show how much she had grown since october 9, 2007 because we have the other elhies and glida last performance. she will prob say something during thank goodness. i wish she could be there longer. leaving two shows almost in a 6 and half month period....its too emotional. and
also thank you for the pictures from the website.
legally_popular: I want to! I wish getting tickets was as easy as all that.
Clumsy break a leg at your audition - and clearly, go see annaleigh. she was my first Glinda ever- would not have it any other way.
Yes, a girl always remembers her first Glinda.
And her wonderful "Popular" performance has been preserved by one of the Raiders of the Lost Arts on Youtube. I could give you a link but that would be wrong on so many levels (is that TWBWOSML?)
I've never seen so many words abbreviated together..

I saw her on Monday too! I didn't recognize a lot of the songs, but I loved them all. I know one song was called Love Hurts and she did a realy funny intro where she talked about the different people who had sung it including Cher. She also sang Rockabye Your Baby, and her encore was Lost in the Stars. I would LOVE to know what the other songs were called, I want to learn a few:)
Did anyone else see it, and maybe knew more of the songs?
Um, she looked AMAZING. Her shoes were the same color as the flower in her hair, and she changed when she came out after the show and looked cute again!
I guess the flower is a trademark now...
I'm glad you enjoyed the show on Monday!
I really hope for some Glinda quirks though. ahhhh

You mean in her show? She was similar to how she is in Wicked and LB, just more real. She talked about her childhood dance and voice teacher and it was hillarious. It was funny, but in a different way. It showed my friends and I that we've only seen a tiny portion of what she has to offer, it was actually realy exciting to see.
is the flower in the hair referencing the flower Glinda puts in Elphaba's hair?

Sounds like an amazing show. Just give Annaleigh a mic and she could entertain me for forever. I would love to go to one of her shows eventually. I'm so used to hearing only LB and Wicked songs from her, so whenever I hear her sing anything else I'm blown away.
Yeah, just hearing her sing "Growing Up Unstable" makes me gasp. haha
Of what? Growing Up Unstable? It's on that site.
It's not from her show though, so don't get too excited. It's from Feeling Electric AKA Next to Normal.
Feeling Electric was NTN?!
I'm so stupid... I wanted to see Feeling Electric really badly but knew nothing about NTN and didn't care to see it. :slaps self on forehead:
Hahahaha you got it mized up though. Next to Normal was Feeling Electric.
oh, and bee tee dubs (bee tee dubs = btw = by the way) I created a fan page for Annaleigh on facebook:

Done and Done.
[ie I clicked become a fan, yayy.]
Yes and via your action we figured out we both know someone in common on fb besides broadway peeps. Haha
Yeah, from the Feeling Electric recording I love her "Growing Up Unstable," "Blue Skies," and "Live Every Day." Actually I just love every line she says in that. The first time I listened to it I was like "...Annaleigh!?!? This is the same girl from LB and Wicked?" And I had never heard her curse before, and some of her lines are hysterical. After I saw N2N, I told my friend that when we got home we could listen to Annaleigh sing these songs and my friend was all hesitant like, "Um.. can Annaleigh sing these songs?" Def. proved her wrong.

Yeah, we were blown away. I called my friend and she said the Janis Joplin song she did was called Get It While You Can, never heard the original but Annaleigh sang the heck out of it. Did someone say audio was available? PLEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEE tell me where! (Sorry, I got really excited).
So far I know she sang:
Love Hurts
Rockabye Your Baby
Get It While You Can
Lost in the Stars
A really pretty song about New York that talks about Mona Lisa
A song everyone went crazy for I think was called It's Magic?
Can anyone fill in the blanks for me or tell me what these songs are called?
There is an audio existing and some of it will be posted on Annaleigh's Birdland myspace soon.
The show was incredible.
the best song she did was the "nyc song" that is being talked about
its called
"mona lisa and mad hatters"
and it was honestly the best thing i have ever heard
i had goosebumps and was crying, it was truly beautiful.
