i super love Annie Golden but after Mimi le Duck i'm so shell shocked by her... she leaves me with doubts about how she'd be in this

Is she the one who sang the part of Tracy in the Hairspray demos? Also wasn't she in some commercial as a fairy godmother or something?

Annie played Annie Golden in LEADER OF THE PACK. She also played Dave's wife in THE FULL MONTY. It is indeed A WOMAN'S WORLD!

Yes, she sang the demo of "Hairspray" and it is FAR superior to the cast recording.
She rocks (and has a rock group of her own).
Why is this MAJOR talent understudying???
