My friend is in the cast. I love Annie. It's overdone but is a great show.

I think Annie gets unfairly labeled as crap just because there are kids and dogs in it. I think the score and the book are solid, and the only real reason Annie has a bad rep is because of overexposure.

It was the first show that I got to be in the pit.

About 7 years ago I saw it with Sally Struthers as Hannigan.
It was a little strange.

WAY overdone.......why don't they just merge Cats and Annie, call it Cannie, and be done with it....ARRGH!
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

And Mackenzie Phillips as "Lily St. Regis"??? Hmmm...I would have assumed "Miss Hannigan" or at least "Grace Farrell"...but "Lily???" Hmmm...

When I was 14 I was obsessed with Annie...I even had a web page...annieonline.com and a $800 dollar collection, spending all my christmas and birthday money on Annie stuff. Big Geek. I have since realized that it is not the best show ever, but yeah, I agree it doesn't suck as much as it's given credit for sucking.

Man, the fact they aren't coming to Canada saddens me greatly.
I love Annie. It's so cheesy.

Some cheesy is good. Some cheesy is bad. In this case, I'm sorry to say, Annie is the bad cheesy.

Why yes you can, which makes it 100 times easier than going through the press folks, like I have to do with most tours. Keeping these tours updated, along with the Bway and Off-Broadway shows is a lot of work, but I love do it and help out of Rob.

BTW, Alene Robertson (Miss Hannigan) is wonderful...I saw her in a production of Beauty and the Beast at Carousel Dinner Theatre in Akron.
