I'll be in NYC on April 7 and I need help deciding which show to see. I've narrowed it down to these:
South Pacific - I saw it last year and loved it, but some of the cast members I fell in love with won't be there anymore and I don't know if it will be worth it.
Nine to Five - I've been a fan of Stephanie J. Block for years and would love to see her live. April 7 is the 1st NYC preview for the show, but I'm not familiar with the show or the movie.
West Side Story - One of my favorite musicals, but I've heard that the production isn't so good.
Blithe Spirit - Normally I wouldn't consider a play, but I'd love to see Christine Ebersole.
Wicked - I always enjoy it, but I've already seen it multiple times and would prefer something newer.
The Phantom of the Opera - This is the show that turned me on to professional musical theatre. I'm not really into the show anymore, but I could see it for old time's sake.
If I didn't live in the city and don't visit often, I wouldn't watch shows I've already seen, but of course that is your prerogative.
I can only see one show. I'd only see Phantom or Wicked if for some reason none of the other shows worked out. South Pacific and Nine to Five are my top two choices as of now.
I forgot to mention Hair as a possibility. I like it, but I don't love it.
ok, I saw this production of WSS on the second day.. I LOVED it, sure it has work.. but overall, I LOVED it
I say 9 to 5. It's completely new and fresh and I GUARANTEE you will have a good time and walk out singing the score!
And if you like Stephanie, she is really, really wonderful in the show, and has a great part.

From what I've heard, 9 to 5 is going to be really good, so I guess I would vote for that one :-P
Thanks for your help. It's almost definitely going to be 9 to 5. I just need to check with the person I'm going with.
I would go with something you haven't seen like 9 to 5 or WSS. But if you can see only one..9 to 5.
