So I am coming to NYC from May 18-23. So I could see 7 shows. I want to do tkts booth for almost everything but I have some questions. I want to see ALNM. Should I buy my tickets in advance, wait to see if its at TKTS and if not then buy it at the box office?
The other shows I want to see are follows but I really don't know yet. In order
ALNM
N2N
Promises, Promises
La Cage
Memphis
Adam's Family
Fela

What are your suggestions

Personally, my suggestion would be to see Everyday Rapture. You can rush the show and probably move down in the mezzanine since the mezzanine is not sold out ever.

I also would recommend Everyday Rapture! It was a fun and funny show! Promises, Promises was also really good!
Next to Normal was my favorite show that I saw last year and my two friends saw it this year and it was their favorite! They won lotto too so you could get really cheap tickets! haha

I find discounts before I go for shows I want to see. If there are some not on discount, If I want to see them bad enough, I pay full price. You never know what wil be up at TKTS. And I always include one or two off-Broadway shows.

I would go to broadwaybox.com and buy the discount tickets for each show ahead of time...
With the discount codes, they're pretty much the same price as what you'll get at TKTS much of the time, but you get the advantage of having more control in a) picking your actual seats and b) knowing that you'll actually have tickets instead of being surprised that one of your shows just happens not to be up on TKTS that day.
