Hey guys, I have a few questions I figured you guys could help me out on.

1.When a show closes, how long till the other theatre is emptied? Does it matter if a new show is coming in?

2.What is 'scale'. I remember someone said Groff wouldn't do HAIR cause they wanted to pay him on scale.

3. Me and my friend were discussing the Legally Blonde on MTV thing. I said "I think that was the nail in the coffin". He disagreed saying "They did exactly what they should have done". I then expressed I think they should have done a 1hr special with showcasing a few numbers and some behind the scenes stuff. What do you guys think they should have done?

1: As soon as the show is over, they take it out. Every day it's still in the theatre, they still have to pay rent.

2: "Scale" means 'minimum wage' or 'the minimum you can pay a Union Actor.

3: I don't think MTV hurt LB at all. I DO wish that they folks chatting backstage knew what they were talking about and they had more interesting things to say.

1. Yup
2. Yup (But we don't REALLY know if that's why he isn't doing Hair)
3. Can't truly tell unless there is a parrallel universe. BUT...if they weren't already disappointed with their box office, they wouldn't have tried. IMHO. I actually DISLIKED the taping, but already had plans to bring my MS kids to see it. I was pleasantly suprised that I had fun at the palace.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
