Sorry for the double-post but I just listened to the song and felt the need to leave a review on it.
First off, Alice Ripley, I wasn't opposed to her version of it. This was the first time I've heard her sing and she has an impressive voice that can hold notes well and it sounded like she was just having alot of fun with it. I thought she sounded fine in this, perhaps a tiny bit too "twangy" if that makes any sense at points but nothing painful to listen to.
And Anthony sounded fine as well even though he was sing/speaking through half of it. He also sounded like he was just having a good time with it and it was very entertaining. I really got a kick out of Alice's little "Anthony fangirl moment" during the "Ana retentive etc" part. Anyways they both just sounded like they where having a good time and I liked it, and was very amused by the song. :-P
It also makes me wonder how these two would have sounded together as Audrey and Seymour seeing as how Alice played Audrey in Florida with Hunter and Anthony was Seymour in the tour. I would be very interested to hear them both sing Suddenly Seymour or something.
I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart.
