Anthony Rapp Walked By Me Today--Twice!

Posted: 9/7/05 at 12:30pmI met him in a subway station when i was in NY in august. by far the highlight of my entire trip. I thought he was great; super nice and very easy to talk too. I'm sure i stuttered my way through the entire conversation but my excitement overpowers my embarassment for the evening.

yeah...you really should have talked to him...what a great guy...I had the pleasure of meeting him in NYC.
He is just so down to earth and he doesn't let the whole celebrity thing get to his head. He's just awesome in general

Posted: 9/7/05 at 12:57pmAm I the only one that cannot believe this thread even exists? Mr Rapp is indeed a very nice guy and I've enjoyed several quick conversations with him in the past but he's just a normal person. You walk by them every day. By the way, when living or being in Manhattan you would think that one would be accustomed to seeing all sorts of 'celebrities' and if not perhaps you should.

Posted: 9/7/05 at 4:01pmWonderboy-- I do understand what you're saying, but what's the point of not being excited? It just seems like playing it cool all the time would become really boring. It's refreshing and really sweet to see someone who does get excited about things.

Posted: 9/7/05 at 4:47pmHaha yeah that's the one I'm talking about Emcee. I clicked on the link and my eyeballs became in danger of falling out of their sockets from opening that wide. :-P

Like if you live in a Hollywood and an actor walks by you - it's part of life...even if OUR actors are better than theis (LA's)...

Posted: 9/7/05 at 5:03pmOh calm down--I just thought it was cool to see that they were rehearsing--I wasn't expecting him to come out into the hallway and when he actually did, I thought myself very lucky! "I can't believe this thread even exists." Sheesh. I'm sorry I can't be as slick as you, I guess I was born with a recessive gene.

And it's 'Mad amounts of sex', thank you! *Adam hair flip*
Anthony, thank you, oh dear man for putting up with the insanity. You are a great guy (so I hear).

Posted: 9/7/05 at 5:24pmTee hee hee. A thread about Anthony. These make me so happy!! Ebonics, I echo the sentiments of everyone here who said they were jealous. The man is amazing. For me this wouldn't be A celebrity sighting. This would be THE celebrity sighting.

Posted: 9/7/05 at 5:47pmUm, is it just me or did anyone else just hear angels sing? It seems to happen a lot to me when I talk about Anthony. I hear angels sing and I regress back into 7th grade behavior. God help me if he really does end up reading this. But, since he's gracious and incredibly talented, I guess I really don't care about making a total fool of myself over him. And if he was a foot away from me, Ebonic, I can assure you that the useless drivel pouring out of my mouth would have, indeed, been pretty loco. I commend you on your ability to stay cool in this situation.

Angels sing, a beacon shines from on high, and I feel like a 5th grade school girl, giggling like mad and gawking. As you can tell by my rather inane post. *grins* You rock, Anthony.
