Maybe I’m just not looking right. But there’s usually some reporting on how the shows benefited from the Tonys. I noticed neither Bands or Island ate at tkts .
Well, the first grosses report for performances after the Tonys won’t be coming out til this upcoming Monday. So maybe wait til then

Well, I have relatives in town who want to see Carousel this Saturday night and I went on Telecharge thinking that post awards, it may be a tough ticket, and I couldn't be more wrong- more than 60% of the orchestra available at this point, so I'm thinking that Carousel didn't see any noticeable bump
TBV will now be sold out of several months if it follows historical trends.
Annie - Usually the only sizeable bumps come for winners of the Best Musical and Best Revival. Even the plays aren't known for cashing in too very well. (In the short term)
From a quick search on Telecharge, it's clear that The Band's Visit is experiencing a major bump. It's completely sold out until Saturday, and then just premiums and scattered singles available through 6/24. Opens up slightly after that, and through the holiday.

I know that. But usually the show biz trades report on day after Tonys box office bumps.

I hear Harry Potter is doing quite well after all of their awards!
Lol....I know it needed it.

It might be worth noting that TBV was already at 100% capacity in the pre-Tonys week with an average ticket price of $114 and a gross of $950,000.
I would guess the overall gross may increase a bit post-Tonys and surpass the million mark, but the show has been consistently selling tickets and its current potential gross is only about $74,000 more. Wonder if there will be a price increase.

I believe OOTI has stopped selling the lottery loser seats, they must be selling the rest of those seats at full price nice. Hopefully they will be seeing a nice boost next week
