Trying to get tickets for "Groundhog Day" at the end of April and the only discount code that I can find is Orch for $119. Does anyone know of a less expensive code for the show? Thanks.

I rarely find code shopping to work very well. It is usually the same discounts no matter where you go... just different codes so they can see who is driving traffic to them. But it's always the same discounts.

Here's a trick. Try the online lottery. If you don't win, they have been offering a code for steeply discounted tickets. And you get to pick the seats yourself. I think my offer a few weeks ago was for $60.00 or $65.00 tickets. And we got 8th row, side, two seats off the aisle. Not sure if they are still doing that now that it's open and reviews are out. But worth a shot.

I just lost the lottery for tomorrow afternoon's show, and the loser tickets are $69.50 +fees. The seat selections are in the front row, extreme side orch, rear orch, and rear mezz.

I've been entering on my computer, so you're fine without a phone. If you win, you just have to check your email and purchase the tickets by 10pm on the day before the show.
The loser code also works at the box office if you want to avoid fees.

Possibly dumb question - from how you worded that you make it sound like you can purchase the tickets for a future performance...is that true?

Oh, sorry if I'm being unclear. The lottery tells you the results the day before the show. I got my email around 1pm today for the show at 2pm tomorrow. All of today's winners have until 10pm to buy the tickets.
I think the loser code works until curtain, but code itself only works for the performance you entered/lost for. All the rules should be here: http://www.groundhogdaymusical.com/lottery

We should probably keep easily hackable codes a bit quiet, no? Lest they change to something less obvious. 
As it is right now, you can use these to buy tickets before the e-mails even go out.

Yes, keep it on the hush hush. I'm going to try that same code - with the date changed for the day that I want to go next week. I tried it now on Ticketmaster, but it didn't work. Perhaps they only activate it once that day's lotto has been announced, and just do it on a daily basis?
Upinlights, wow - that's a fantastic seat! Did the $80 include the fees, or were the fees added to that?
