I can't imagine them doing Season 3 the way they have treated the show but find it weird they have not announced it has been canceled. I was totally expecting to hear it was canceled when they said it was moving to Saturday night.

Next season will introduce Julia's new collaborator, Geoffrey Goldstone (played by John Mahoney), a legendary intellectual and composer/lyricist with somewhat unusual sexual proclivities.

"Bombshell" will close, and Ivy will find her life in perpetual peril when she gets the lead in a new show by Helen Falstaff (played by Winona Ryder), Broadway's most experimental and yet commercially-savvy auteur, who has a terrible habit of nearly killing people in her productions.

Renee Taylor play Bibbi Hoyskavitzbergstein, the sassy producer determined to get her musical "MANSON!" (Which also parallels Jonathan Laron's life) on Broadway against "GATSBY!"

They will!

But for budget and legal reasons, besides the aforementioned guest stars, all recurring male and female characters will now be played by Youtube performers Nick Pitera and Tessa Netting.

And it's a web series now. Called SMERSH.
