Any interesting cast recording quirks?- Page 4

During "Small World" in the Gypsy Revival Cast Recording w/ Bernadette she does this weird thing when she sings 'funny'. Its like she is 'rolling' her f's. Its really unusual and whenever I listen to it, I always have to rewind and listen to it again!

Another one from ALL SHOOK UP (that I JUST noticed only yesterday), in "The Power Of My Love," Leah Hocking drops out for a split second RIGHT at the moment where in the performance the song actually ends, as if she forgot that they were going to keep going...!

-2:25 into the PROLOGUE from Beauty and the Beast. What is that random sound? And also -4:55 into BELLE. Sounds of music pages turning? Faint...but there...and it's always bugged me. At -3:01 into the new soundtrack version of SEASONS OF LOVE, what is that random click? Keyboard sounds? I'm not complaining, that version kicks major a$$.

On the '86 cast album of SWEET CHARITY. During the flute solo in "Sweet Charity" you hear what sounds like the flautist taking a breath. I always find it amusing and rather odd since I am not used to hearing anything but music coming from the orchestra pit. I always forget that there are humans down there! Remarkable humans.

That's not a police siren in 'what is this feeling', it's just Kristen Chenoweth...common misconception.

And Martin's 'Amen' in Life Support drives me crazy!! I guess because it's hard to distiguish what he says, and it just sounds out of place. I'm really glad he didn't do it on the movie soundtrack, though now when I hear that song, I always hear him say it in my head. And Idina's giggle is obviously part of her saying 'Oh, my God!' honestly...
