Any? I have a few I've discovered:
This has been discussed: On AIDA, at the end of ANOTHER PYRAMID, you can hear Zoser say, "Suffocate them"
On JANE EYRE, right after SWEET LIBERTY ends, you can hear what sounds like a rock band performing.
This is my favorite: On WOMAN IN WHITE, *SPOILER ALERT* when the Asylum guards are chasing Anne, you can hear one of them say, "Don't be a b*tch."
Anything like that you guys have discovered?
There's the orchestra playing about 100 wrong notes on the original cast recording of The Producers...

zoser definitely doesnt say anything after another pyramid. i listened to it 547837589326074 times and still havent heard anything
Listen to it again, and look for it. To hear it, you have too have the volume increased, or listened through the headphones.
oh my gosh! you're right about the 'Aida' song. I don;t think it's suppose to be an accident.
oh, there is a sound that is like a police siren near the end (at the -0:30 mark) of "What Is This feeling?" in Wicked. When my dad first heard it in the car on the highway, he actually looked behind him and started to move over until i told him it was on the cd.

I *think* this happens, but on the RENT OCR, during the line "Because reason says I should have died three years ago." I think Collins says something in the background. Like Amen, or something. But not positive.
ashley, i know. I just heard it. It does sound like he says "A" something. It might be "Amen" not sure. but, yes, there is something there.
Yea, Collins says "Amen" after "because reason says..."
That Aida thing is creepy! I'll have to listen for it

I just heard the "Suffocate them" line. It is really faint. I wonder if it was dilberately made to be so faint. I really had to turn everything up loud and even them 'them' didn't really turn out. Still rather need.
That...Aida...recording..thing. Is quite..scary.

My favorite quirk has always been the 'bang' at the end of 'Castle on a Cloud' on the 10th Anniversary Recording. What made that, anyway? I heard somewhere that it was a balloon popping, but it sounds too loud to be that.
And that Aida thing is freaky.
Yep, the bang was a balloon, it just echoed really loudly in the hall
I always thought that the whispered line at the end of Another Pyramid was 'So f***ing good' (in reference to the performance) but that could just be my peculiar mind

A few pronounciation issues...
Adam's "I have always love you" on the Rent OBCR for "Your Eyes."
Mann's "You must thing me mad" on the Les Mis OBCR for "Confrontation."
Not that you can really blame Mann, though - it's a hard word. My high school put on Seussical last year, and people would just not believe my emphatic emphasis of the "k." So, come opening night, the audience heard about twenty people singing, "Oh, the things you can thing!" Made it sound like the entire cast had a terrible lisp.
Mind you, he does have a problem with diction sometimes - witness his "I'll do unto you, as you do-do me" from the Scarlet Pimpernel...

On the OBCR of "A Chorus Line" you can hear the conductor turn his page really loudly during the quiet dance section of "The Music and the Mirror." (Right after the sax solo.)
It's more obvious on the original CD (and LP) release, but you can still hear it plainly on the remastered version, even though they did their best to minimize it.
I was following along with the piano vocal score one time when I turned my page at the exact time you hear it on the CD. Now, I can't help but listen for each time.
On the original Anyone Can Whistle, you can hear one of Cora's boys cut off late toward the end of "Me and My Town".....do do wah do do do wah da wah...
On the American Premiere recording of Evita, you can briefly hear the conductor giving a pick-up count in the break of "And the Money Kept Rolling In."

I don't hear the siren thing for What is this feeling? Of course there is Idina's giggle in Finale B. Popular one though.
Someone on the other thread said
"Just thought of another recording mistake: Brooklyn." Hahahaha.
Anyway, from the OBC of Hairspray: 'I gotta get out of this slammer, this cooler, this big doll (huge gasp from Harvey Fierstein) house!' That drives me nuts.
Idina's giggle is such bs. I don't believe that it's a mistake or that she was laughing at something in the studio. she's attempting to act. that's all.
Oh, is THAT what's at the end of "Another Pyramid???" I've always heard it, but could never tell what it was.
At the end of "The Light In The Piazza," I love how you can kind of hear Kelli exhale or something. I doubt it's a mistake, but I can imagine she really got into it during the recording as she does on stage.
And (in ASU) does anyone else hear a big "whooo!" near the end of "Can't Help Falling In Love," kind of before the part where they call out the names??
Whenever I heard the giggle in Finale B I just thought someone was letting out a nervous, relieved laugh because they realize Mimi's ok. I don't know... it's so loud on the CD that you'd think if it was a mistake it would have been rerecorded or something.
I just listed for the A Chorus Line page turn and heard it.
I don't think the "amen" in Rent is supposed to be an accident... I've heard it every time I've listened to the CD.
Dre, I have no idea what you mean about the siren in What is This Feeling though.
This is a really cool thread. I like it.
