I believe Casey Elliot is playing Radames in this tour, can anyone confirm that? If so I will make the 5 hour drive to Boise. He is amazing!

i can confirm this. Casey Elliott is Radames and his understudy is Dan Rosenbaum of the Rent Nat'l tour. Marja Harmon is Aida and Leah Allers is Amneris. All are VERY talented and will not dissapoint on this tour.
Argh! Is it stopping anywhere other than Owensboro in KY? I don't feel like sitting in a car for 8 hours or going to Knoxville.
I can not possibly begin to say how freaking excited I am.
I can definitely confirm that the tour is coming to Galveston on Feb. 25. I got a season ticket brouchure in the mail recently. I thas a pic on it that I'm hoping to scan soon to post on the board. I can't wait to see this show again!
your can find a picture here:

just scroll to the bottom, click on the arrow, then click on AIDA.
any more information on the tour yet...
I remember when the show came here to Birmingham back in 2003 it was GREAT.
I hope it finds it's way back here.
Dan Rosenbaum is understudying Radames??? that sucks. I hope he has some scheduled performances if/when the tour hits my area.
So in Rick Lyon's iPod comment he says something about his wife in AIDA in Maine - is that a regional thing?

Does anyone know if there will be any Canadian dates?
For NYC area people- the State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ (maybe 20 minutes from nyc by nj transit trains) is having Aida (two nights only and one mat- Jan 19 and 20th) and tickets are already selling like hotcakes! lol I just got three in the center orchestra so there are still a bunch left for now- you can get them online at statetheatrenj.org but I recommend calling because there system does not let you "look for the next best set of seats". I kept getting like row E but alll the way over to the side which I hate. However, I called and a very nice person helped me get seats in the center so big woohoo!

I for one am quite excited about the Owensboro date. It's been advertised in the Owensboro papers for a while now. I hope I can make it. I would love to work backstage. I helped with costumes for "Fosse" at the same theatre in 2004.
I am friends with Dane Joseph, who will be playing Mereb on the tour, and he is phenomenal. Non-Equity certainly doesn't mean less-quality all of the time.
This sounds awesome...I frickin' love AIDA. Does anyone know much tickets normally cost for something like this?

BroadwayAcrossAmerica only lists the stops that go through one of "their" cities.
Yeah, Broadway Across America needs to change that.
The highest price over in NJ was $65 which is what I paid for orchestra seats.. i think the lowest was 40ish but I could be wrong

Thanks! At least that gives me an idea of what they may cost
:)
I think I'll be seeing it when it comes to Owensboro! Hopefully, it's a great as it sounds!
