Any news on the HAIRSPRAY Vegas cast?- Page 2

I'm not as interested in the cast as I am the running time. I've heard it is 90 minutes long, meaning they'd have to cut quite a bit. Does anyone know what numbers or scenes they are cutting?

Well I was on the subway and the person next to me opened their newspaper and there was a full page ad saying "See Hairspray in VEGAS!" I had no idea they were so gung-ho already.

I just returned from the last performance of Hairspray in Baltimore tonight.I spoke with Charlotte Crossley there.She says that she will be in the Vegas cast as Motormouth Maybelle when it opens.I would love to see Keala(Tracy), Caissie(Penny),Tara(Amber), and Jim J. Bullock(Wilbur) end up in that cast from the tour as well.They are all so talented.

YAY...Two more Toronto Hairsprayers are getting a chance to do the show again, Katrina Dideriksen and Fran Jaye. All I can say is Vegas audiences are lucky as hell to be able to experience Fran Jaye's powerful vocals that I much preffered to Mary Bond Davis's on the CD (which I loved). Instant Chills.

What about the ensemble? Has that been announced yet? Also, does anyone know if Keala is staying with the tour? I thought I read someplace her contract was up soon.
