I just saw The Piano Lesson and loved it. I noticed that another of August Wilson's plays, Two Trains Running, is starting Feb. 2 in Red Bank, N.J. Does anyone have any idea how good this will be? It's directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson, who directed The Piano Lesson. Is it worth going to Red Bank? Thanks!
Two Rivers Theater Company is one of the best regional theatres in the metro area. Probably THE best, for my money. I've seen about five productions there--including their production of Wilson's JITNEY, also directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson--and they've all been top-notch. And with a cast that includes Roslyn Ruff, Chuck Cooper, and Anthony Chisholm, you can bet that this will be on my must-see list.
Also, Red Bank is an adorable town with great restaurants and some shopping. You can really make a day out of it. In short, go.
Thanks for your reply! Sounds like a great production.
