I made it into the waiting room, finally, and I was happy to see I was No. 76. Then, after not refreshing for maybe 10 minutes, I'm now 683!

I think we all deserve a free membership next year just for the aggravation of paying extra money to wait in line. Ridiculous.

just got through over the phone (50 minute wait). bailed on the internet.
The Public Theater really should be embarrassed. If they were a for-profit business of almost any kind, this kind of nonsense would have been investigated by the City of the State by now.

Are people getting through on the Partner Hotline? It is the only one taking calls?
I was on hold on the phone for 40+ minutes, even while posting earlier, and finally booked the Joan of Arc tickets while driving home, heh. Got second row on the aisle, which is pretty much where I would have booked if given the choice, so worked out...
I got thrown out of the waiting room and now the website is down.

Just went to the box office, no line no waiting. Picked up tickets for Joan of arc for Weekend of march 18, row B on aisle. Looks like they didn't sell many (if any) online today. If you're in the city and can withstand the cold weather head down there!

I couldn't believe when they shut the website down yesterday. A new low, even for them. They have the worst website in the industry, and they don't seem to care.
Website is back up. I was able to buy a ticket. No waiting room.
For the weekend dates I wanted, the remaining tickets are all toward the back. But I think that's okay.

Thanks for the heads up! An email from them would have been nice, but I realize asking for anything from them is too much.
The website is still very slow for me, on all pages.
I did receive an email from them. I had signed up using the Google document. The Public offered me an individual code, which I didn't use because I rushed to buy my seats! Maybe the code would have gotten me something closer. Oh, well!
I got an email with a code and got a great seat in the middle of the second row this afternoon.
