Does anyone know if this is still going ahead? I remember people saying they were waiting for Kelli to be free however now that she has booked Bridges Of Madison County I'm wondering will they go ahead without her?

I'm hearing its been pushed to next spring.
Kate Baldwin PLEASE.
^ That would surprise me, if they have pushed back to March next year, only because I got the idea that Ann would be a show that would be gone in 2-3 months, so would be much more a LCT filler, If it is March next year, then another show will go in for the fall
Better to wait longer for this masterpiece of a musical theater and rush and get it completely wrong. so if it is scheduled for spring 2014 then so be it.

The reason ANN is coming is because KING fell through for this season ANN is a rental production, I'm hearing a show with a 14 week limited run will be coming in the fall and then KING will HOPEFULLY be coming in next spring, theres some pieces they have been trying to get in place that just have not been locked down yet.
Definitely not this year. Shooting for 2014.

Anyone have ideas for who should play the King?
Paolo Montalban.
Or how about a talented Asian?
Like Paulo, who is from the Philippines?
I don't necessarily see him being stern enough
So sorry to insult your vast intelligence, Wyn.
I'm just making sure you know how wonderful you are. I mean you make sure everyone knows, so I thought you'd like it if I helped to make SURE everyone knows.
Also, I can't think of your screen name without having your stunning avatar in my mind. You pick well.
I'm moved
Did anyone happen to see Daniel Dae Kim in the role? His Lost and Hawaii Five-O credits could add a pinch of bankability.

I'm glad
Ashley Brown, perhaps? Although I love Kate Baldwin for it, as well Updated On: 2/16/13 at 04:47 PM
"His Lost and Hawaii Five-O credits could add a pinch of bankability."
This is true. Hawaii Five-O would cater to the older (or young with older tastes) crowd, while the younger (and certainly some of the Five-O crowd) would flock to it because of LOST.
Ashley Brown would be marvelous!
I'm not sure that the older crowd is watching "Hawaii 5-0" any more than another demographic- it's one of CBS's top crime dramas (in other words, one of CBS's top shows).
According to my Facebook feed, it's a pretty popular watch.
