It was on CBS at about 11:30 (Indiana time for me). Beth and Bob were there singing 'As We Stumble Along.' It was pretty exciting!! My friend called me up to tell me to change the channel =)
Speaking of CBS, did anyone see Neil Patrick Harris standing in the rain interviewing dogs?
I caught parts of Drowsy. My phone rang just before it started. It was family so I couldn't get off of the phone.
Neil was not happy about being out in the rain! Did anyone see him and Jesse Tyler Ferguson chatting in the rain?
I saw the JERSEY BOYS and Drowsy Chaperone performances. They were great!

Nope. And when I turned on Ch.2 and saw Neil Patrick Harris, I turned it off. No thanks I'll pass

DANG I thought you went away. Nobody needs your snarky comments about gays anymore. Keep it Broadway when you are on the Broadway Boards.
Neil really got a horrible assignment.
I loved Bob Martin's little introduction! Awesome performance as usual :)
I loved his little introduction too. Bob Martin is great!
I saw it! I had not been remotely interested in seeing Drowsy until I watched the Parade yesterday.

Where did The Drowsy Chaperone perform from? I know Jersey Boys did it from Jersey...
Drowsy performed "As We Stumble Along"
A prerecorded rooftop in the city.

As wonderful as the performance was, did anyone else find it to be a little awkward looking?
I thought they were both great. I got both recorded and I'm glad I did!

The performers were all wonderful but I agree, it was TOTALLY awkward! Especially with Jersey Boys... for some reason, when they like walked over to the microphones, I was kind of like ???

Did anyone else enjoy how they mispronounced Beth Leavel's name? I also loved how Drowsy just appeared. It amused me.
Oh yes! You mean Beth LEEval? I was amused too!
i found the cbs performances a little awkward too, on a side note i think jersey boys performed in the same location the cast of brooklyn did a few years back. My favorite was rent a few years back that they had them in front of the theater (clever tie in i thought) instead of some random location.

The most annoying thing about the Drowsy performance was the stupid way it was filmed. They kept cutting to these high-angle shots for no apparent reason, and the camera kept swooping around. It was stupid and unnecessary. All they had to do was show me the actors doing their work.

loved Bob Martin, will be said when he leaves for the road or London.
Neil Patrick Harris made my Thanksgiving. He is so sassy - it delights me. I loved the time he was interviewing a little kid and asked her if she was going to say til the end of the parade and she said yes, then he said something like "come on, are you really going to stay?" and she was like "no..." (ok so it was funnier on the tv).
Is it me, or does CBS choose weird locations for everything? About 2-3 years ago, they had Mamma Mia do "Lay All Your Love On Me" at Grand Central Station and Nine was in Central Park.
