I'm sure many of you saw it at midnight or advance screenings, but is anyone going tonight? I'm loading up on drinks with friends before heading to the Ziegfeld; after the show, I decided the movie's probably not best watched sober. Anyone else's plans?

I have tickets for the 9:30pm show. Sno-Caps are already in my purse.
Happy Mamma Mia Friday, everyone!
I saw it at midnight! Thought it was a hoot! Very fun fluffy summer movie!
I hope everyone going tonight enjoys it!
Saw it at midnight as well.
I can't remember the last time I've had as much fun at the movies. This is one movie where I can say I completely forgot about life and got lost in the wonderment for two hours.
I can't go untill tommarow, because I'm babysitting. But my mom just got back from seeing it.

I tried, got shut out, oh well!
Glad to see some of you guys actually liked it. I read some dreadful reviews (Star Ledger nj.com).
I'm a Mamma Mia fan and I'll go see it no matter what, eventually.

How could you possibly not get a ticket?
Someone on another thread said he saw it this afternoon in a half-empty theater,
the audience being comprised of old women with hearing problems and their dozing husbands.
Do you think maybe he's exaggerating?
How could you possibly not get a ticket?
I went to Lowes by Boston Common just now! The 740 show is SOLD OUT. Unfortunately they do not offer online tixs, that's why we ended up going there without tixs. I just bought the 910 by internet and hopefully we will see it tonight!

"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuAlthough I already saw it in June, Im dying to see it again. I LOVED IT!
I saw it and enjoyed it. Meryl is awesome, but she definitely is no Carolee Carmello. And also of course this happens to be playing at the cheap theater near me this week, so I might end up seeing it a bunch more times. I think this is my new heroin for the summer. LOL! Last year it was Hairspray.
I LOVED this movie. I read a bunch of reviews and people criticized the movie for trying to be "too fun" as if fake fun would inspire real fun. We I had genuine honest to goodness fun. Loved hearing the ABBA, seeing the beautiful Greek Isles and fake tans. Even the choreography was fun and silly.
What I hated was my audience. Lame-o. Not one person sang or danced. I was hoping for a rowdy, Friday night crowd in the city. People are so darn self-conscious. Or ok have a sing-along showing. It's ABBA people.
Coin Firth was adorable. Did anyone have a fun audience? Was it better at the Ziegfeld or in the village? I guess I should have seen it at midnight. I know some people hate it when people sing along.. but I loveit. Seeing it again tomorrow.
Just got back! Overall I enjoyed it.
Silence is NOT GOLDEN DURING MAMMA MIA. LIVE A LITTLE!!!
Yeah, I was expecting a little more liveliness as well. People are no fun!
Just got back! I LOVE the movie! Very Enjoyable! The Scenery (locations) are very nice... very visual! Its EXACTLY like the stage version, they barely change it! remove 1 song..

I saw it at AMC 42nd Street. 8:15 showing. People were getting pretty into it...you know, clapping after Dancing Queen and Lay All Your Love On Me (a pleasant surprise), and laughing loudly whenever Pierce Brosnan would open his mouth. More than that, there was lots of random clapping & yelling, and almost everyone stayed for the two numbers at the end. Fun stuff.
