Every Tony prediction signal in one place: markets, critics, audiences, precursor awards. Schmigadoon is indeed now the heavy favorite. They're split on Cats/Ragtime though May 22 2026, 08:03:06 AM
This is great. Hoping Ragtime and BLR come up a bit. Totally agree with Josh Henry and Luke Evans. Totally 1 and 2 for me.

THE LOST BOYS Reviews Apr 27 2026, 09:37:09 AM
I honestly think the middle aged moms (and dads?) are going to be the biggest unexpected audience for this and they are going “Wild” for it. So anyone born 77-84 ish … Many have tweens who can’t go alone - so don’t discount this for that 10-14 age and then teens of course.
I actually see “Wild” charting as some kind of mid-life female Anthem. They better release a single soon or the Santa Clarita sessions will chart.

I now think they are a plant who keeps the conversation going in here. The negativity is driving a response and keeps this thread semi-controversial. Or perhaps they are jealous and are trying to limit the success of those who are including them and bring down a show. It’s a game.

THE LOST BOYS Previews Apr 24 2026, 03:06:28 AM
Good, bring back the PR team- it’s a great show and I hope to be seeing it for a very long time. As someone who is not in the industry, but who sees at least a show a week, often more- I am emotionally invested in this show. if I have to post about it daily, I will to combat the naysayers. Now as the show is probably mostly frozen - here is my final wish list:
I have seen several soul-bearing videos addressing the Frog brothers scenes and jokes about “

The show is better, it was fun to watch the movie after seeing the show. I hadn’t watched it since I was a teenager. I

Beaches reviews Apr 22 2026, 03:57:47 PM
The problem is that people truly love the Beaches IP and had very high expectations for it. Vosk was going to kill it no matter what. The show itself falls down.

Lead Actress in a Musical 2026 Apr 22 2026, 03:18:24 PM
I also just think that people assume she will get it for N2N. So she might get nominated but not win.
also both ladies of Beaches are not strong enough.. only Vosk will get it. This is my list:
Chase
Mindelle
Michele or Levy, not both
Pitts
Vosk
I think people genuinely love a story and that emotion will drive these.

2026 Outer Critics Circle Awards Apr 21 2026, 06:04:43 PM
trentsketch said: "Strange that Two Strangers only got nominated for one lead here and at Drama League. I'm sure both get the Tony nominations, but that's a weird split for such a small show.
And yeah, I loved The Lost Boys, but it has an uphill climb in the big categories because it's a campy vampire musical. Not everyone has a lot of respect for horror, let alone a musical with Elviras and Draculas popping out of the closet or rainbow superheroes in spandex.

2026 Outer Critics Circle Awards Apr 21 2026, 11:51:45 AM
I think there is a strong assumption that N2N is coming and she will get her recognition then. many people feel this way and are willing this return. I think these awards reflect how people are really feeling right now.
1) Everyone is rooting for Sara Chase given her story and loved her in Gatsby and now Schmigadoon- she is beloved and people want a great story of perseverance and hard work. She is broadway right now.
2) Same with Vosk- she is the only reas

Drama League Awards 2026 Apr 20 2026, 11:53:59 AM
I LOVE this list. Standouts for me are the Wild Party nominations… as it was just that good, Ethan Slater!, Carrie Coon, Sara Chase and of course, Jessica Voss for carrying the weight of an entire show on her back.
As a huge, very vocal fan of the Lost Boys I was also so excited to see those nods as those two keep me going back.
One miss for me that is not getting enough notice with the big 3 leads was Hannah Cruz in Chess as she makes Chess interesting a

CHESS 2025 Broadway Cast Recording Thread Apr 15 2026, 04:23:06 AM
scripps said: "Agree 100% with malcs98. I saw Chess in previews and was impressed by Tveit but knew in time adjustmentswould be made and he'd finesse this score to his strengths, and that was definitely the case when I made a return visit in February. Honestly, I was damn impressed—I've been hard on Tveit in the past—and wish that voiceon that nightwaswhat I was hearing on this new recording.
And I am shocked people are willingly listening to &

CHESS (2025 Broadway Revival) Reviews Apr 10 2026, 02:25:44 PM
I don’t think they would abandon their own show to attend another show’s opening especially when they are also investors in their own show… but that’s just me. Maybe if they had a personal connection to the show?
Sundays have always been my favorite day to attend.. they are often on fire!

Pink to Host the 2026 Tony Awards Apr 9 2026, 01:24:22 PM
Love this! Watch her segments on Kelly Clarkson- her daughter is a huge musical theater person and this is very much connected to Greatest Showman. There are still rumors of her hosting a NY-based talk show ha if she doesn’t take over the Spbere (whether Kelly or other) and I imagine she would have many Broadway segments. It seems to be a strong love for her family.
There is a clear connection here, not random at all if you are paying attention.

This is going to be a huge hit, full stop. We sat in the first few rows and we were probably among the collective people losing their minds that someone referenced. No shame. My only old person concern was that there was a lot of smoke in the first few rows and there should have been masks available or a warning when purchasing tickets. It’s a lot. (Showing my age.)
First - the talent and charisma and energy, youth etc. in the cast is undeniable and the effects/staging is beyond

Working on a bomb Apr 7 2026, 11:15:50 PM
I do have a soft spot for If/Then- but I know I’m not the only one. I have heard SO MANY requests for a revival on other sites. I would categorize it with 9 to 5 - shows I do believe are now nostalgic for many of us and will have a second chance someday. Also, how do you know the writers feel that way? I would start an If/Then appreciation thread if I had more time.
I have a soft spot for Boop! too… so sue me. I think they could have given it a few more months t

Security Line Insanity Apr 7 2026, 09:41:53 PM
I didn’t have to get my purse checked the other day.. is this why? I was actually very worried because I was completely wearing a bag and no one looked at it. Now I know I am a 40-something invisible woman and my purse was very nice… but you never know.

Working on a bomb Apr 7 2026, 09:35:58 PM
If/then isn’t considered a classic? Really? It’s not “Into the Woods,” but a lot of people think it’s beloved.

Working on a bomb Apr 7 2026, 08:20:22 PM
I also don’t think Boop was a bomb… I don’t think it was given long enough to run. I think it needed more time. It’s going to be spectacular on tour.
I also think Redwood had some great songs but a terrible book. They needed to make some changes and didn’t do it in time. I think it’s going to be seen as a classic some day like If/then and might get revived with edits.
Queen of Versailles was painful… there was no need.
