In the new Entertainment Weekly, there's a Mary Poppin's AD in the first few pages. It's not really an ad for "Mary Poppins" but it has a picture of Ashley Brown flying over the audience. It's a great picture, and I didn't realize how gorgeous that theater was. I think it's a Visa advertisement.

Any way to post a picture of it? Would love to see!
I saw it too, it's an amazing ad....does she really fly over the audience like that??? wow.
I like it more than I like the show itself.
I was actually a little annoyed -- I knew she flew in the show, but had no idea it was like that. Now the wonder is gone.
'course, I live in LA, but still. Principle of the thing.

Which EW magazine is it?
She flies?
She's Mary Poppins! Of course she flies!
Of course we could use our imaginations in the theatre for once and pretend she flies, but it's Disney. What do you expect?
Is her umbrella a headpiece?

Oh, not to sound so arrogant, but it's Mary Poppins. So it should be "Mary Poppins' ad."
Well, it's an ad for Mary Poppins, so I'd be inclined to use "Mary Poppins ad". But if we simply *must* make it possessive, then as there is only one Mary Poppins, it would be "Mary Poppins's ad".
No reason to split hairs Weez. Both Mary Poppins' and Mary Poppins's is accepted as long as the usage is consistent.
Oh, certainly, I just enjoy picking holes in people who are picking holes in other things. We all have our hobbies. ^_^
I have a picture, but I don't know how to post it. Can someone help?
Hey guys,
