When her, Veanne, and Kathy took the stage, you could see the potential the production had.
Her comic delivery during "Six Months..." was impeccable, and her touching, loving, tender and somewhat sexually-charged "Near to You" was priceless.
I honestly wasn't a big fan of hers at all. Jewishboy, I know this is sacrilege, but I don't enjoy "You Can Always Count on Me" as much as everyone else, and don't really care for her in the FIDDLER cast recording. However, after seeing her live on stage for the first time, I adore her.
I think it's kinda neat that she beat Krakowski for the Tony back in the days, and now they are both sharing the stage in this high profile production.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
