I think it's so funny and very real to those of us who have worked in the theatre.
Yes! It's very awesome! In fact, I'm shortly to be suffering Hamlet-withdrawal, so this might be a prime time for a Slings & Arrows rewatch. :3
I watch when I'm having trouble on a show, I watch when I experience the withdrawals after a show. It's perfect therapy and well done.
the "newer" cable channel Ovation is airing all three seasons. Except for the excising of the profanities (by silence), it still is wonderful and funny and "true." And re-seeing Richard as he originally was played in the first season was a joy.
such an amazing show!!!
You Betcha. Season III William Hutt as Lear - !!!!!!!!!!
Slings and Arrows is amazing. I occasionally rediscover that I have all of the DVD's in my closet and I have been known to watch all three seasons uninterrupted if I have time off. Soooo good, and definitely better than anything I've seen on American TV, IMO.

"Season III William Hutt as Lear "
Most amazing actor I've ever seen on stage. The acting world, particularly in Stratford, misses him.

Just started watching this show through Netflix and am enjoying it so far. Love Paul Gross :)
The worst thing about that show is that it ended.
A superbly written, produced & acted show. I wish it was more widely shown uncut in the US.
I own it on DVD. I agree with Almira, the worst thing about it is that it ended.

Best Canadian show ever (which isn't saying too much but...) It aired cut in the US??
I have to imagine that the bare butts didn't make it past US censors. I've only seen six episodes so far and those are the only things that jumped out at me

I believe it aired on Sundance Channel in the US, but the DVD's are what made it catch on.
It's a BRILLIANT show.
A masterful show. It helped me get through some tough times in college.

Not knowing US Cable and how it works well--would Sundance be opposed to basic nudity? It aired here in Canada on cable initially but has shown up uncut on some late night repeats on regular networks (where of course light nudity is allowed unlike the US).
