Anyone going to see Chenowith's final performance in Wicked?

on July 18th? I finally got great seats for the show. My hunch is that the audience will be totally into the show and the cast members will put in great, energetic performances.
I saw Wicked with Idina and Kristin a week before the Tony's. Their performances and the audience were both great. I saw it again a couple of weeks ago with Eden and Kristin and it was not as much fun.
Hopefully the Sunday show will be a great send off for Kristin!

That brings up my "dumb" question of the day (sorry I don't know equity rules that well). What happens to the last performances of Cheno and Butz, if the strike lasts through the 18th? Do they ever happen or are they happening today?

Wickedboy, where are your seats? I got mine the day it was announced it was her last day, and their Q side orchestra. We figured, hey at least we got in.

I wish I could go. I doubt there's going to be a strike. Maybe if there is, they'll schedule her to come in one day that Jennifer Laura Thompson is out for all that wanted to see her last performance. That would be one time I wouldn't be upset that the lead is out (not that I don't think JLT will be great).

I have tickets to see it Saturday ... I really hope the strike doesn't effect this. I've already seen it so I'd survive, but my bf's mom and 10 year old sis are making a trip from ST. Louis just to see it. Here's hoping!

Yes - I have tickets that I got from a broker, so will be up a creek if there's a strike.

Also - I have family coming to NY for the weekend specifically to see the show (a graduation present for my niece), and they will be heartbroken if there's a strike.

UGH> Equity has an emergency coucil meeting tomorrow and willl decide on on astrike or what other action to take. All actors under production contracts have been under advisory to remove ALL Personal property from their theatre each evening when they leaving in case a strike is called.
