I had no problem viewing the SHE LOVES ME live streaming last fall. I paid a one time fee of $9.95 and that was it. Now I notice to watch HOLIDAY INN's streaming on Saturday night I have to become a member. There is a monthly option fee of $14.95 which I of course chose instead of their $165 annual fee. No problem paying the extra five bucks to see the one time viewing but when I went to pay thru my PayPal account it specified that not only would I be charged $14.95 for the one month but would be automatically charged an additional $14.95 per month thereafter. I went back to BroadwayHD's site and found out that by going to "manage my account" I SHOULD be able to cancel my monthly membership. SHOULD? I've always been wary about giving out my payment methods to any site that automatically continues to charge you monthly fees until you notify them to stop and feel no different in this case.
I also noticed they had a $7.95 per viewing option but only on "certain titles" and had no success pursuing it any further. Also tried calling them by using the "contact" tab but was taken to an endless loop asking me to sign up for email notices yet never giving me their phone number (yet I had no problem acquiring their phone number last fall and speaking to them directly). So has anyone been successful signing up just for Saturday night's showing that could offer any helpful suggestions? Or who knows their direct phone number? Much thanks in advance.

I had a similar question and emailed them from the contact us link. They responded within 20 minutes so you should get a quick response. Let us know if you find out anything useful.
I'm curious about the monthly option too. What did Broadway HD say when they responded, mesquared?

"Now I notice to watch HOLIDAY INN's streaming on Saturday night I have to become a member. "
Is this really true? They're not going to have an option like She Loves Me? That seems like a bad idea.

They responded:
"Holiday Inn will be available for one week after the live stream. It is only available with an annual or monthly subscription.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions".
I guess they figure they get more money out if it if you are monthly member since they probably didn't get many conversions to membership from the one-time only pricing.
I think spending $15 for both the live stream and the ability to view all their titles for a month (including the now-edited She Loves Me) is a pretty good deal, considering the fact that the more subscriptions they get out of this the more live streams we're going to see in the future... they got my $15!

It's obvious that they aren't making money from the one time stream, so they hope that once you sign up for a membership, you will either forget to cancel or keep it. The simple solution is just to sign up for a month subscription, and then cancel before the end of the month.

I think I remember for She Loves Me they wanted you to have an annual membership to stream with apple tv or roku. Is the monthly subscription sufficient this time?
You can turn off recurring payments on the PayPal side easily enough.

Have they updated any options to view the site on a Smart TV?
Also you can use the code RNHTHEATRE to get an extra 25% off the monthly subscription fee.

That's true, if you just cancel after a month it's still a good deal.
I tried to sign up for their monthly subscription last month when She Loves Me became available again for viewing. I figured there was enough content now for me to warrant the monthly expense.
However, I was not able to - it seems there are now viewing rights issues that are restricting anyone from Canada to subscribe. I'm guessing its much like Netflix. I had email correspondence with a couple of people from BroadwayHD and they apologized for not being able to offer me the service.
So, I haven't tried signing up for Holiday Inn yet, but if they are requiring the subscription then I'm going to guess that I'm out of luck... too bad ... I really wanted to see it. Seems to me a bit short-sited to change it from how they offered She Loves Me. sigh......

Thanks for the coupon code. It worked perfectly for $11.24. I purchased the monthly subscription, but then changed the settings so it's NOT aoutomatically renewable. These are the instructions they give in the FAQ.
Make sure you are logged in and then navigate to your Active Subscriptions & Rentals from the My Account area. From there, select Manage on the appropriate subscription. From this manage screen you should be able to turn on or off the auto-renew feature.
I had to dig around a bit more when completing the subscription info but quickly found the place where you can uncheck the auto-renewal feature. Hopefully this will all work!
They were also offering a 3 month subscription that also worked with the 25% off coupon code.

Thank you for the tip for turning off auto renewal. Helps us with lousy memories!

I wonder how many people will be tuning in to this vs She Loves Me? I personally am not interested (I LOVED the She Loves Me live stream) this time around because I didn't love Holiday Inn when I saw it in person. It was cute, but, didn't enjoy it enough to buy a subscription for Broadway HD.

I'd imagine the biggest audience for these is people who couldn't see them in person, not people who want to see it again, no?

Yes. I think that they want to share it with people outside NY.
Also, it looks like Roundabout is getting a bargain with this livestream.
