ACL is short for A Chorus Line.
When I saw it a few weeks ago, I couldn't figure out why something was different about Connie. That explains it.


Now this is a very irrelevant question and it certainly doesn't deserve its own thread, I'm even embaressed to ask it. But my friend who saw the show with me and I were talking, and she seemed to think that the character of Bebe gave off a gay vibe. I am NOT asking about Alisan Porters orientation. But in terms of the character, did anyone else pick up on some subtlties to make you wonder the same thing? I guess it was the way she looked at Val after "Dance:10, Looks:3" that would make me ask the same question. I'd never noticed it before.

I'm not crazy, I swear, but now I'm really curious.

A friend of mine saw the show on 20th or 21st and Yuka was back!!! No more "break a leg" Yuka. I'm so happy for you!

Yuka is back, but Jason Tam will be out for a month filming another season of "Beyond the Break".

Ah, that makes sense. I figured as much. I saw it tonight and was wondering where Jason was. I have to say, having now seen both Jason Tam twice and Joey Dudding in the role once, I MUCH prefer Tam. His dancing is leagues above not only Dudding's, but above the rest of the cast as well, which is what makes Paul stand out so much. Yuka was back tonight. Also, E Clayton Cornelius was on for Larry, but wasn't that good. David Baum was on for Greg, but Michael Paternostro is MUCH better in the comedic timing department. Pamela Jordan was on for Sheila, and she was good. She has a very different take on Sheila than Diedre does, but I enjoyed them equally.

Also, this was the third time I have seen the revival, and Charlotte gave literally one of the worst performances I've ever seen on a Broadway stage this time around. She didn't even sing on pitch tonight, plus the dancing was just awful. She needs to be replaced.
