He is a decent Joseph but not quite there in the acting. Ok the show is hackneyed and naff but it is good fun and does what it promises - entertains. His singing is very good though.
Much as I am an adovocate of newer productions of things, of which there have been many over the years in and out of London, there is always a place for old "favourites". And I would rather see Joseph, with all its flaws, over some pretentiously directed/written/acted piece of, for want of a better phrase, "wanky theatre" anytime. Not that newer productions of things are automatically in they category but some most definitely are.
