Was considering seeing her at 54 Below, as it's been about 16 years since I've seen her live. My memories of a fantastic voice, but not much of an audience connection. Has anyone seen her in the last couple of years?
Have seen Linda Eder in concert twice this year. February was in Cerritos, and April in Palm Springs. Will be seeing her again in December here in So Cal. Fantastic voice and fantastic performer. Have seen her in concert over 50 times, including 54 Below. Go see her. You'll be glad you did.

Saw her back in March at the Keswick and thought she was terrific. Loved her set and found her to be very charming.

I am like you, saw her many years ago and she was wonderful vocally. I agree with you, there was not much audience connection. (mostly quick song introduction). Yes, you go for the music, but it does enhance the experience when the performer interacts a bit with the audience.
Couple of questions. How talented is her son (Jake Wildhorn) and would you go to the shows where he will join his mom on stage?
I also saw her many years ago -- she was pregnant with her son at the time, so however old he is, that long ago -- and thought her audience connection was fantastic. I remember her calling herself "this fat chick at the piano who thinks she can sing" and making everyone laugh. So maybe she has on days and off days with that ability to connect, because I know she has it sometimes!
Here’s Linda with her son Jake Wildhorn from 3 years ago. He’s 26 now.
