i would say comedy.
probably because i'm good with timing. and i can just pick up quickly in things. i'm more of a character actress i would say.
it just comes more naturally to me than drama does.

Then how dare you crown yourself the queen of drama?
As for me, I am probably best in the Steve Buscemi/Christopher Walken creepy villain roles.

Posted: 3/11/07 at 10:22pmI would say Comedy....I've been cast in a lot of comedic roles and I like playing them not just from comedic timing, but because the people who leave always remember the funny guy

Posted: 3/11/07 at 10:24pmI would have to say drama because when I have lines that I have to hit an be funny on, they kind of scare me. I like comedy too though.

Posted: 3/11/07 at 10:28pmI do have to say that I'm not really the kind of actor who plays the extremely broad and funny roles. I'm definitely more on the Bill Murray side of things.

I'd say I'm probably stronger in comedy; in either case I am much more suited for "character" roles than anything else. I will never be the ingenue, but hopefully I can carve out a niche for myself by injecting a bit of my personality into supporting roles. Besides, everyone knows that the ingenue is a total bore anyway

Posted: 3/11/07 at 10:37pmI guess I'd say comedy. I kind of would like to think I can do both but I really love to make people laugh.

Posted: 3/11/07 at 10:37pmDrama. I don't know if I'm better at it, I'm just more comfortable in it.

"I'm just more comfortable in it."
I feel the same way about drama.

I'd have to say comedy. I'm a pretty strong character actress (the kind who can take a role like "Townsperson 2" and turn it into a raving drunken redneck who hits her crippled child and carries a head on a stick) and for some reason, crazy characters like that just come easier to me.
However, that's not to say that I don't love doing dramatic roles. I just haven't really had enough of them within my career.

Honest-to-goodness, I'm caught in the middle. I mean, several past roles I've taken range from: the emotionally-intense roles like, "Jean Valjean" in LesMiz and "Shaw Moore" in FOOTLOOSE to the creepy-weirdness of "The Boss" in SIDE SHOW to the rather over-the-top, side-splitting comedic in "Bazzard" in DROOD, and "Eddie Flagrante" in Zombie Prom! I prefer testing and challening myself, stepping outside my body, my being, and striving for bigger hurdles. I prefer a little bit of both ... Mixing and mashing the styles can work, too. I figure as long as I have a 'connection' with my audiences, I'm a happy camper. Thankfully, that's how I go about things.

Posted: 3/13/07 at 1:48pmI would say drama, because I have terrible comedic timing and I always feel uncomfortable performing comedy.
What?
