I agree. It's just, I feel like those shows and things are misrepresenting what broadway really is.

You took it the wrong way.It's what ruined or is ruining "your" broadway.

Make a list of who, or what is misrepresenting broadway, or who shouldn't be on broadway. Here's mine: Wicked RENT Haylie Duff Idina Menzel Ashley Parker Angel Recent Movies based off broadway productions. Cats *It's all opinion EDIT: OK, So I don't really believe that broadway is ruined. Alright, so I've heard a few songs from this musical and really, I don't think it's bad at all. The only information I've read is that it's about old people who steals furs for different causes. I'm glad you guys enjoy Yassmin and I actually used to her as one of the best, but this was before I knew how high broadway standards are. Looking back now, Yassmin's performance was energetic and very dance heavy, but a LARGE obvious component of RENT is singing. First of all her voice didn't carry, wasn't strong, and had a absolutely nothing impressive about it. Ok I'd just like to say that at a point in my life I was RENT-obsessed. Antonique is by far the best Mimi vocally, and hasn't had her fair share of great tapings. Antonique lacks a little energy and dance talent, but she is a totally committed and great Mimi. Daphne was a great actress but her singing never impressed me, matter of fact not one Mimi (excluding AS) ever impressed me as much as her. She's also super friendly at stage door and very appreciative. I mean Scary Spice and Yasmin Aler...
