Are there gunshots in WHY TORTURE IS WRONG... ?

I haven't asked this question about a show in quite a while; Haha!

I'm going to see TORTURE on Sunday (I think) and was curious as to if there are gunshots and if so, are there many?

You all know by now they generally take like a year off my life whenever they happen in a show and I'm not prepared. Thanks in advance!

No, there are no gunshots. Guns, yes, here and there. And to be honest with you, the violence (i.e., "torture") does get uncomfortable in the 2nd act. But it's absurdist, so don't worry. Durang does a great job of turning it around and bringing you back to a place of normality by the end of it all.

Personally, I loved this show. It took some time getting into it, but once that happened, I laughed until I had tears in my eyes.

Most audience members the night I was there seemed to feel the same.

Hope you enjoy it! It is truly an unforgettable night of theater!
