Ariana Grande doing a Carolee Carmello impression

God, I love Betty and Taz. Ariana Grande doing a Carolee Carmello impression

Also, just to clear this up, for those of you trying to justify or defend her unsanitary behavior... the donuts were not sitting out there in violation of the health code. An associate had brought them up to the counter because Ariana wanted to look at them. They did the same with another tray and that's when she stated they were "so gross" and that she "hated America."

The donut licking was done as a stone-cold sober dare and she did not end up purchasing those donuts. The donuts were purchased later on in the day by several different customers, who were warned about Ariana's actions the next day, once the owner had seen the videotape, but it was too late. They had already consumed the donuts.

This is much more about donuts and dares and being immaturity. This is about a basic humanistic expectation of respect & decency. Something this brat doesn't have. Her actions were not foolish or silly... They were malicious. How the hell do I know what you're carrying in your saliva? Ever heard of Mono?

It seems to me that most of the people pushing back at me have not taken the time to actually find out the full story. Do some research before you speak on such an issue. Jesus.

A perfect example of today's self loving entitled young culture.

Numerous other talented performers would, unlike her, be grateful for a chance at stardom.More importantly, they would not get a swelled head and inflated ego when they did.

If she hates America .....

Excusing her licking the donuts just because she's "young" and "foolish" is a very poor excuse. There are tons of young people who know better than to prance around like entitled little pricks doing stuff like that.

And I'm sorry, but her talent doesn't excuse it, either. Any talentless no-name would have been verbally crucified for licking donuts and then not purchasing them, but since she's a celebrity she gets a free pass?

People aren't excusing her behavior. People are saying the headband is overreacting by calling Ariana a vile POS. The Headband is always acting like this, thankfully Kad called it out.

Who is the arbiter of what I can or cannot call someone? I find her a vile human being for licking a donut, which she knew would be consumed later on by another fellow human. That is disgusting...vile...nasty...unsanitary...malicious...take your pick, broadway guy. Since I find her actions to be that way, it also leads me to the conclusion that she's a POS. Because only POS's act that way. I never once put her on the same level as evil dictators. I never once called her the f*cking Devil. I called her what I perceive her to be based solely on firsthand accounts of collaborators/peers and publicly accessible information, including this ridiculous incident. Some of you are just so desperate to find something to crucify me with. How about you focus on this grown-ass woman who acts like a 12-year-old?

Yeah, I know, and calling her a "vile POS" is kind of crossing the line a little. I was just looking at comments where people tried to write it off because "she's young," which isn't an entirely fair conclusion to come to.

Regardless of the circumstances it was truly a lack of judgment on her part to do what she did and to say what she said. I'm not condoning what she did or attempted to do. It was way out of line on her part because she has many fans that look up to her.

She made a mistake, she's owned up to her behavior and she's apologized for it, not once but twice.

Let it go already.

She didn't commit the crime of the century.

Those that didn't like her before this incident are just using it as an excuse to come down on her.

I am neither a fan nor a hater of Ariana Grande but Liza Headband's assertions about her are not only outrageous but comically childish.

I am rather disturbed by this donut story (which I am hearing for the first time here) but I can assure you with 100% there are far viler POSs that have and still are walking this earth! To think otherwise is absurdly hilarious.

Did I ever suggest that in any of my rantings? No. I did not.

I should admit I was a little harsh on her vocal abilities. She has the voice and the range. But she, along with other people, tend to go for vocal acrobatics instead of actually singing. But that might not sell product. And any young person should be commended for knowing Carolee. Respect!

I am no fan of Headband (she/he has been very rude to me in the past) but I agree with her/his Ariana posts. This donut licking I hate America twit should have no place in the message boards. Waste of space, waste of time. Of course my opinion looks like Ariana has her share of detractors/supporters on here

"She's the most vile POS to ever walk on this earth."

Liza Headband these are your exact words!

You truly are so high up on your high horse you've forgotten what you said only yesterday. It's not even as if you said she was one of the vilest, you said she was THE most vile. I did no misquoting and relayed your absurd assertion verbatim.

Did any of you actually watch the donute video? She just says like "I hate America." In reference to the fact that we have donuts. Like jokingly, like we're such a fat country, etc. It's not like she's joining some terrorist group. It was just an off-hand comment. My Mom says that all the time. Just commenting on our culture.

So fat shaming while at a donut shop (what was she expecting to find there, a caprese salad?). That's better. The video also showed her to be really bratty and dismissive of the employees there. That said, I think it's too quick to make a final judgment about her being a spoiled entitled brat as some here have done. People can grow and mature (more adults should do that). I hope she was sincere in her apology and really learned from it. She could have gotten that donut shop in a lot of trouble but it seems they got their A grade back and received a good bit of publicity and goodwill, though it's not like that writes off what she did. Glad to see the owner did the right thing and notified people. I hope somebody doesn't sue the shop if there was indeed no cognizable harm.
