does anyone know what time usually the cast of WICKED has to be at the theater by for a 8pm show? I know where i work we have to be backstage at 6pm!

no offense to you 2 but, it's rather WRONG to catch a performer before a show to have your playbills signed... they dont all enter through the reg. stagedoor as stated many times. Also, IDINA is one person who will probably not like being stopped before showtime. And from what I hear, She doesn't really like to stay after the show because shes tired and that is VERY understandable. Updated On: 10/26/03 at 12:14 PM

To answer the original question, Equity rules on B'way state that the cast needs to be there at half hour.
Which is 7:30pm for an 8:00 show. Now, different people go in earlier for different reasons. (Examples: the actors playing Phantom and the Beast for their makeup sessions, etc.)
So it's hit or miss.
