Ashford-helmed SHERLOCK HOLMES in the works for London and Broadway

Producer Antonio Marion has announced that Tony and Olivier Award-winning director, Rob Ashford, is set to direct a brand-new production of Sherlock Holmes, a stage epic by British writing team Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel, with Akram Khan joining as choreographer. The new play will be developed in London before West End and Broadway bows.

Fun Fact: I happen to know Antonio Marion. I first became aware of him many years ago through mutual friends at one of the local community theatres in my area of residence at the time, Northeast Ohio. I was even able to interview Marion back in 2017, where he told me about the then-status of this project.
