Hi all,

Wanted to let you know that Jonathan Groff's hometown television station is featuring him this week as "local boy becomes a star" type thing. There's some great stuff on their website that shows old school pics of Jon growing up, some still pics of his performances in earlier shows - such as "Bat Boy," some clips from Spring Awakening, and even an early home video of Jon singing "I'm a Little Teapot." It's a must for Groff fans!!!

In full disclosure, my "other half" works for the tv station, which is how I heard about the feature in advance, and I did some stuff at the theatre where Jon did "Bat Boy".

It was really strange how the I'm a Litte Teapot was taped off a television showing a tape of him singing. But cute, though.

I killed the boss, you don't think they're gonna fire me over a thing like that!!!!

I have to say I only became a big Groff fan in the past week, when I saw Spring Awakening for the first (two) times. He was not only flawless vocally, but happened to be so genuinely nice at the stage door, taking lots of time to talk to each fan, and he was the last to leave.

He is a genuinely nice person - although I'm not sure how pleased he'll be that his mom released that "I'm a Little Teapot" clip!

That video clip of him singing was so cute! Great pictures too.

I'm so excited! This is my news station. I live in the area, and it's so odd to see one's news station being talked about by people from far away. Very odd feeling. Anyway, congrats to Groff for getting recognition.

bumping this message to let everyone know to check again - more clips have now been added. Last night's story included a small clip of Jon as...yes...Dorothy in Wizard of Oz in one of his "homemade" productions.
