How is she doing in her role as Amber?

On the days she shows up she's not too bad. Not the best Amber singing-wise, but acting-wise she's very good.

I saw her a couple of weeks ago. I kinda thought she wasn't bitchy enough in the role, but that is just my personal taste. PS Amber isn't really featured in the singing all that much, so it's hard to judge her there. But from what I remember, her Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now was fine. I wouldn't worry.

She was better than I thought she'd be. The best I've seen? No. The worst? No. She acts the part well and like someone else said, you can't judge her signing that much because Amber doesn't have a lot of songs. However she's only in the part for like what? three weeks now, and she's already missed a few performances. When the new Amber comes in I won't be missing Aubrey too much.

She's still dedicated to DK is why she's missed so much. I thought she was wonderful, though.

I was pleasantly suprised with her. I'm also really glad that the show didn't try and make her the star by giving her a later bow or making her presence more well known... Unlike some other person we know over at ACL.

Kate starts the 19th. So I assume she leaves the 17th or 18th. Also, I expect her to look a LITTLE above crack whore level.

aubrey's headshot is from a photoshoot and her last day is tommorrow.
*hairspray will have 5 performances this weekend.
tonight at 8pm, sat 2pm and 8pm, and sunday at 1:30pm and 6:30pm.

shes been doing fine as amber but i understand if she had to miss some for dk appearances.

Danity Kane. It is a suckish slutty girl group from "Making the Band" on MTV. Aubrey is part of it.

I saw Aubrey on 8/17 and I have to agree with all of the previous comments. She was alot better than I imagined her to be. I expected her not to be able to sing or dance but she hit the big notes in Mamma I'm a big girl now and she was great with her dancing too. I've only seen Aubrey, and LBB (I've seen the OBC twice) so I dont have much to compare her to but overall she was really good. She was really impressive with what she's given with see how Amber isn't the biggest role in the show. And yea, her headshot isn't the best.

It's a special schedule for the holiday weekend.

I think Loprest will be a fine Amber. To date, she remains my favorite Glinda, other than Kristin Chenoweth.
