Audience Rewards Amex

Received a letter in the mail yesterday stating that Audience Rewards is terminating their Amex card effective October. Does anyone know why this is or if they have another card planned? My favorite card!

That's a damn shame. I almost never buy tickets through Telecharge (always go to the box) so the card was the only way I was able to earn points.

I haven't seen anything on this.  I rarely use the card.  Yesterday, Audience Rewards gave me 10,000 points for being a "loyal" customer.  I wonder if this has anything to do with them terminating the card.

i got that too! ugh....however when re-reading it i think  First National Bank (the issuer) (in partnership with amex) is terminating it. maybeAudience rewards will come up with something new? it really is a great program to see affordable theatre

I got the 10K reward too. 

You don't have to use Telecharge.  You can give the box office at participating theaters your Audience Rewards number and they will credit your account.

I used to redeem my points for signed window cards that they got from BCEFA but lately they haven't had much to choose from. I've never redeemed my points for tickets because I prefer to sit the first couple of rows and those never seem to be available.
