Audra or Marin: Which for Sally?

Which would you prefer in the role? And please, talk about the topic and don't deconstruct my hidden reason for making the threads. Feel like every BroadwayWorld needs to have that preface these days. Both would sing it perfectly. But which do you feel would knock it out of the park?

Simply because WATCHING Marin sing makes me cringe, I'd say Audra. (But I don't think either is 'right' for the role.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I thought Peters was already set for Sally. Now, I think Audra for Phyllis would be interesting to consider. Would love to hear her sing "Could I Leave You." For that matter, what about Donna Murphy. She knocked it out of the park at the Sondheim birthday concert.

Peters IS all set.

Audra is too young for Sally.
Marin sings a killer "In Buddy's Eyes" and "Losing My Mind" - but I think her acting style is more appropriate for Phyllis.

I would love to see Marin as Phyllis.

Donna has already proved (several times) she is a terrific Phyllis.

Audra, who can do anything, doesn't usually project the level of bitchery that makes Phyllis fun.
