HAHAHAHAHA - Miss 20 per cent will do what she always has done - missed shows and it won't make a bit of difference.
What's so funny?
"HAHAHAHAHA - Miss 20 per cent will do what she always has done - missed shows and it won't make a bit of difference."
The point of this post?

Musicaltheatreman2, according to the article I've pasted below, Audra only performed 7 shows a week. She would not perform the Wednesday evening show.
I am not sure why, but I am going to assume it had to do with either her voice or a scheduling conflict.
That said, I don't know what the big deal is and the point of the original poster. The thread title is incredibly misleading; it makes it seem as if Audra has been out of the show awhile.

Well the OP joined last month. Not that that is ever an issue but seems like another poster that was just here stirring up the pot.
Gets tiresome.

What is tiresome is the fact that she has had a record of missing many, many performances throughout this run, and I hear that it as been a pattern of hers for the last few years. She has cancelled performances, so much so that she jeopardized the shows run, and that the show is marketing it like it is a triumphal return. The producers had to send her a letter demanding that she take whatever steps needed to make sure she shows up for shows - and made her limit her time off. What is tiresome is this pathetic need to push her, when she has missed so much of the show. It should have closed already, it didn't deserve the best revival tony award and she didn't deserve a tony for her "tiresome" performance. Now, what is really funny, that she gets away with performing the least and getting the most. If you actually had to work with her, you'd know that she makes Elaine Stritch seem like Mother Theresa.
Darling, the only thing that was tiresome was that post. (And by all accounts Elaine Stritch is a sweetheart, so I don't even know why you brought her up.)
But you already let your feelings be known on this topic in a previous thread you started. If you felt the need to continue why didn't you just add to your original thread?

I'll stick with "tiresome."

A condescending attitude is what is tiresome. I am just posting on an issue with this show. If you don't like my post, that is fine, just move on unless you have something more concrete to add, rather than copping an attitude.
Honey, Honey.
If you think my response is "condescending" you will be eaten alive on this site. But back on topic. Your "issue" with the show was brought up in the previous thread. You seem to have a personal issue with Audra or as you called her in the other thread. "Madam" and not quite sure the exact wording of the other name but something like . A vagina with teeth.
And your first post in this thread what was that other then a bitchy attitude?

Again, condescending and nothing concrete. My "reaction" was just that a reaction. The word to use in that last line of yours is "than" not "then." My issue is with the marketing of "the RETURN of Audra." You brought up the previous thread, I didn't. The return of Audra to Porgy and Bess, won't help the ticket sales and that is what I was referring to and commenting on. Oh and HONEY, please don't take me on - unless you truly need a "motivation to cry" and prove you truly are a broadway star.
Oh you scare me with the Grammar. That is the whole basis of this topic.
If we want to start on choice of words "Miss 20 per cent."
I brought up the previous thread because that is where this rant belonged. You already had started the discussion there.

I must have missed your point from what you posted.
"HAHAHAHAHA - Miss 20 per cent will do what she always has done - missed shows and it won't make a bit of difference."
And you really scare me there. "Motivation to Cry." I just shat myself.
This is my last response as like I have said this is "tiresome."

And yet, you still feel the pathetic need to respond..hahahahaha - love it
I think everyone here will agree that there is only room for one emotionally erratic individual on this board and it's me.
LOL!
@Wynbish
That was perfect. Thanks for the true laugh out loud. :)
It was very funny! Too bad I can't figure out how do all this cool crap the rest of you do. Italicized quotes, pictures that move.
Wynbish, I'm always amazed at your spot on GIF collection!
Italics is when you put (without spaces) < i > before a sentence and < / i > after a sentence.
