Posted: 10/14/06 at 9:01amThe mezzanine overhang blocks the view of the projections and the top of the stage. That's where they used to offer rush for JB. I didn't like those seats at all. Also, because I'm short (5'), that made it harder to see.

Posted: 10/14/06 at 12:09pmWhen the show first started, the back rows were sold at a lower cost and labeled as partial view (because you miss the projections). I can't remember if Row W was in that category, but I do know that was taken off when then show blew up!

I have sat in several different seats at Jersey Boys and have seen the show many times. If you don't have tickets in hand and are searching for some, I would say try to avoid W & X.
Not a complete view of the show. I for one was invited over the summer to see the show and sat in Row W and I have to tell you after experiencing seeing the show from Row B or C or even K, It wasn't the same for me. I for one would not purchase anything past R. Like I said I have sat in many seats, but the best experience I had was when I sat up close. You feel like your part of the show. You get to really see the expressions on the actors faces.
I just saw a guy on e-bay selling row V and W and he is stating that these are full view and excellent seats in orchestra and to top it off he is selling them for 350.00 each ticket. I think this is nuts!
But I guess he thinks a tourist woundn't know any better and take his word for it and think they have excellent seats. I feel bad for those who are not familiar with the August Wilson and pays this kind of money and then realizes they are not going to have full view.
If anyone has any questions about the seats, feel free to ask me like I said I have seen this show many many times and have sat in several different seats so I know from being at this theatre.
I sold a single ticket over the summer on E-Bay it was row B second row right hand orchestra third seat in seat 6 and I could have gotten alot of money I was told. But to be fair I only asked what I paid for it which was $111.00. This lady from CA. bought it and then e-mailed me the very next day to tell me she loved the show and the seat was excellent! This is what I call an excellent seat not like the guy who is very misleading on E-Bay and telling people row V&W are full view and excellent seats for 350.00 each. What a rip-off!
