Well, folks, I've finished listening to the recording. And my biggest complaint about the recording is Where Will You Stand When The Flood Comes. It seems so tiny with the reduced orchestrations. Listening to this song on the OBC scares the living spit out of me cuz it's such a terrifying song.
That said, apart from one disappointing song, I love the London cast recording of Parade and now I really really really really really want to see a production of this show with the changes made to the London production and Don Sebesky's orchestrations. That and the cast has to sing the first half of the chorus of The Old Red Hills of Home a capella in the finale like they do on the recording. That would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.
