Any news about a US release? I'm listening to the clips on THAT site and I am absolutely blown away.
You know what? I'll just get it off of Footlights.

My copy arrived from Footlight within 3 days of ordering. Footlight's shipping is typically lightning fast.

I'm officially starting to think it was a stupid idea to order from Dresscircle.
I pre-ordered it in November and STILL have not received my copy.
I've also e-mailed them three times over the course of the last two weeks, and have received no reply...
Any suggestions?

Posted: 12/19/07 at 4:35pmI ordered mine the night before it was released on DressCircle. I received mine a week later. I had e-mailed them the night before I got it and never did receive a response. You might want to call them?!

It figures - JUST as I post my problem here on BWW, I call home and have them check the mail and BAM, there it is.
Good things come to those who wait, it seems!
...now I just have to wait until Friday to get home from school to listen to it!

For those of you with the region specific dvd players, here is a website that will decode the player. I used it awhile ago and now I can play any region dvd on my player.

If you don't need it immediately, I'd recommend the UK Amazon site. I bought my copy there, and with shipping it cost a little over 13 pounds (about $26).

I ordered it back in December when it was out of stock, so it took a little more than two weeks (I got it just after the new year). But my prior experience with amazon.co.uk is that shipping takes about a week for in-stock items. And customer service was good about emailing me right away with status reports on when the item would be shipped.

IT'S ON ITUNES, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered it from Amazon but it never shipped so I just downloaded it off of iTunes. I'm really enjoying it so far. Admittedly, I miss Don Sebesky's lush orchestrations. These orchestrations make Parade sound like John Doyle directed it
I already thought this show was perfect the way it was but the new changes make it even better. I love how Rosser isn't the comic character that he was in the original. The end of the first act is more heartbreaking than ever (and let me tell ya, I saw the SpeakEasy production and by the end of the first act, I was pretty much a mess). I love how A Rumblin' and A Rollin' is a duet now. My favorite moment of the recording is when Angela says, "Sugar, tell me somethin' I don't know." Even though People of Atlanta will always hold a close spot in my heart, I don't miss it at all on this recording. Hammer of Justice is a superior song, without a doubt. But I still have to finish listening to it.
